Am I on a GONZO fix or what right now. I wasn’t as immediately hooked onto BLASSREITER as I was The Tower of Druaga, but by the end I was left feeling willing enough to try out the second episode. Like Dragonaut, CG was used for all the fast-moving scenes and fights, which was okay and all, but it left me disappointed with the regular animation, since I didn’t like it at all. If I could just have a lesbian moment for one second: the naked woman at the beginning of the episode wasn’t even hot, IMO. Nor the blonde + green haired woman. I mean seriously, what is with that hair colour combination? Maybe it’s because I’m a girl, I dunno, but it wasn’t working for me. None of the guys were hot, either– well, no, the mysterious guy with the odd design coming down his right eye was nice. So he and Amanda were the only nice looking people. Okay, now to move on from the increasingly shallow talk of animation and character design.

I haven’t laughed that hard since the first episode of Hayate no Gotoku!…which could be a bad thing, since Hayate’s jokes got old real fast for me. I still can’t believe that show is still going. Anyway, I dropped Hayate around thirteen episodes in, which is how long this series is supposed to last, so maybe I can tough it out. I mean, that whole ’I want to get married after this’ joke got old around the third time they said it, but putting ‘I want to get remarried’ the very last time sorta mixed things up a little (that and the Star Wars thing right before it was awesome). I might not have to bear with it since the majority of it all was a dream and the real, and hopefully more serious stuff, comes next episode.

Wow, I haven’t watched this series in over a month, but I’m gonna try my darnest to finish the series before I start any Spring Season ones. In any case, the wedding of Addie and Honami was what greeted me upon my return. Kissing Itsuki all those weeks ago made her go lesbo xD But really, I didn’t get what Itsuki was so bothered about. At first I thought it was because he was jealous or disappointed that he wasn’t asked to marry Addie, but as the episode went on I found he was truly really adamently against their marriage, and I don’t understand why. Is it because marriage is a special occasion to him, whether it’s “just as mages” or not? Or is it because he knew it wasn’t something either of them wanted? Maybe both? It’ll forever remain a mystery to me.
