I am in love with series. Just one episode and I feel so wrapped up into the story. It’s weird, because some parts of the story are predictable and the hints easy to catch, but I still find it so interesting for I want to know how it’ll turn out and what will come out to surprise me. And the impending triangle is a plus. And I literally screamed when I heard Miyano Mamoru’s voice. I thought Zero wasn’t aware that the night class was a bunch of vampires, a race he hates, and I thought that was ironic. Then it turns out he knows it and still does the job (mainly because he has no other choice), and then I thought it’d be even more ironic if he was a vampire himself. And lo and behold, they’re hinting heavily that he is. Generic, but it’s something that works because it complicates things, which makes things interesting.

I could go all “OMG, it’s CODE GEASS!@@$!”, but I think that’s been done enough the first day or two since it aired on Sunday, so I’ll just assume you all know my excitement and move on. I guess it should’ve been obvious that with a one year timeskip, Lelouch’s initial amnesia is a given, but it still took me a while to actually get it. It was like I was watching an alternate universe, because it’s a complete mystery to me (and I suppose you guys as well) as to how something like that can happen after the cliffhanger end of season one. It reminded me a lot of the period of when Light from DEATH NOTE lost his memory and was normal again. Granted, Lelouch was restless, but you have to wonder if he was better off that way, though someone (whoever gave him amnesia) was clearly trying to contain and control him by doing so.

It figures that by the time I fully support Ryou and Eiko, Eiko dies. Or maybe it’s because Eiko dies that I support the pairing. In any case, Ryou may be joining her, since he’s quite injured, too. Ever since Gundam 00 managed to kill off a main character, I’m not striking out the possibility that Ryou will die. It was obvious something was going to happen to him when he saluted the two officers that were supsicious of him since forever, but Eiko’s death came out of no where. Why Eiko believed she could hide a tracking device in his car is beyond me. If he was the police chief and he didn’t catch that, they’d have one really weak police chief.
