Butterfly Dreams

Dragonaut never ceases to surprise me. As if learning Nozaki was a Original Dragon wasn’t enough, it turns out Garnet is, too, though whether she’s an Original I’m still not certain. I haven’t seen her in dragon-form, either, but enough hints have been pointing in that direction. Jin doing his sign of friendship with Gio really irked me. I found that was something special between him and Kazuki, and even though they’ve had a fallen out, for him to do that with Gio was like ‘WTF’? It’s like Jin never really cared for Kazuki and the bastard actually has a right to be a bastard. And I’m speaking present terms because I highly doubt he died after that attack a few episodes back– can’t kill bugs like that.

Jin and Toa’s sudden wedding? What is up with that? I know it’s not official (and incomplete since Jin doesn’t have his ring on), but I’m still in the mindset that they’re slowly getting to like each other. All their time apart has brought them together? I mean, it seems like a while ago, but Jin was upset that Toa ditched him before, and only went after her to get answers, and somehow along the way everything’s forgotten and he just wants to protect her? Or maybe I’m taking things too slow? ROFL. But the surprise that takes the cake was Akira’s death and Machina’s berserk mode. I had a real Final Fantasy feeling when I saw that scene. -points to screenshot- I still also think the two were lesbian together, but again it was never blantly said. I guess you can’t outright say that kind of thing, ne?
