Butterfly Dreams

First, YAY for Nekoyashiki-san finally having his own episode a couple weeks back. I was harping about it before so I just had to get that out. Anywhoo, Kuroha in a maid outfit completely threw me off. I thought it was a new character and it took me the longest time to realize it was her. She never did answer Itsuki’s question about why exactly she is wearing it. I guess a girl has just got to wear one once in her life or she’d be incomplete. Sekiren, one of the guys from the OP (and a few flashbacks previously), has finally be introduced this episode. He was kinda just there for me. I was expecting more background with him and Itsuki’s father, I guess. The whole time frame of the episode messed me up, too, so that didn’t help.

Best thing this episode was that Itsuki has finally actually done something himself. It irks me , though, how he kung fu’ed the larva’s butt, when they didn’t show he and Sekiren learning that, but whatever. I liked Sekiren’s advice about Itsuki working together with his eye instead of against it. I’m looking forward to seeing that kind of relationship develop. It’s like a demon is actually living with him with the way it talked when Itsuki refused to reveal it. That gave me a NARUTO vibe.
