Mm, it's true that it's okay to not go into all the storylines of the other characters, but to at least see the characters is what I mean. Kotomi was shown, but that was pretty much it. Haha, I was surprised there was no Fuko sighting.

I liked Tomoya's personality in both the movie and the series, but I agree that Nagisa was a bit weird in the movie.

The way the dream was presented in the series was wonderful, but at the end it didn't end up being explained, when in the movie it had a real meaning. That was what bothered me about it in the series.

Even with the After Story, I think it'll end optomistically. That, or they'll just end it before it gets better. The movie ended happily, but there were rough patches getting there.

kyaaaaaaa !! ^_^ i liked the movie way better than the series because they really went deep into the story of tomoya and nagisa unlike the series where i didn't really find anything interesting happening; although i have yet to see the after story ^_^ since this was only a movie, i thought it was ok for them not to dive into the story of the other characters, they wouldn't really have enough time to make a decent presentation of the other characters in a 2 hour movie anyway ^_^ i agree with several things ^_^ i also found the ed of the series way better to fit the mood, i think the upbeat song was made to lighten everything up although to me it ruins the atmosphere more, i also liked how they presented the background of tomoya and sunohara more, and i was also really really touched by the last 30 mins of the show ^_^ (op and ed of the movie is really nice btw ^_^) but i would also like to have a few more things noted here. imo, tomoya's personality in the movie fits more to the story than the one on the series, nagisa, however, seems wierd and creepy in the movie. The dream was explained more in the movie but i really liked the way they portrayed it in the series, it was very symbolic and mysterious and it fit the story and the mood well. They ended the movie with a happy ending although the story is supposed to be very, even more, depressing which i think will be presented in the series after story. ^_^ and last but not the least, the thing lacking the most in the movie is my little fuko-chan !! ^_^ she should have made an appearance even for a split second ^_^ fuko = little ayu FTW !!!!
