PERSONA -trinity soul- - Episode 13
It figures that by the time I fully support Ryou and Eiko, Eiko dies. Or maybe it’s because Eiko dies that I support the pairing. In any case, Ryou may be joining her, since he’s quite injured, too. Ever since Gundam 00 managed to kill off a main character, I’m not striking out the possibility that Ryou will die. It was obvious something was going to happen to him when he saluted the two officers that were supsicious of him since forever, but Eiko’s death came out of no where. Why Eiko believed she could hide a tracking device in his car is beyond me. If he was the police chief and he didn’t catch that, they’d have one really weak police chief.
Why Ryou said he’d attend Jun’s school event when he knew he couldn’t make it since he had planed to meet Komatsubara. And it turns out Jun’s actually the target, not Shin– at least for Komatsubara. Is it because of his ESP powers? They were talking about hearts and stuff before, and Jun’s ability is able to delve deep into the heart with the kind of connection they were referring to. Now Shin’ll have to step up and protect him, since that group is starting to move, maybe even moreso with the death(?) of Komatsubara. I wonder why they’re with him in the first place, but maybe they all want a new world.
It also turns out the mysterious red-headed girl that always appears with feathers may be Komatsubara’s grandchild or something else to that affect. Was she perhaps the first test subject of that consciousness experiment they were going on about? Is she helping the group collect Persona, or trying to warn them?

Being the number one Ryou/Eiko fangirl I feel like pulling my hair out. Why does P: TS hate everything I love?
All kidding aside, though, I really am pissed by this. I’ve never drank myself into a stupor over a fictional character so having a few glasses of wine over Eiko’s death is the closest I’ve ever gotten. (I had a couple drinks after Rachel got together with Joey on Friends but w/e).
The red-headed girl? I think she’s Komatsubara’s daughter, and her name’s Ayane, right? I have no idea what she’s up to at the moment. At first I assumed she was one of the antagonists but her intentions are rather ambiguous right now. I wonder if she’ll ever have a speaking role. I’m not even sure what exactly she is; is she a human with super powers (lol), a spirit, a persona-like being, etc…?
Have you watched ep 14 and seen the new opening and endings, yet?
Ooo, so this was why you drank wine! Aww, you poor thing. -pats- Oh, was she his daughter? Something related. I’m waiting for the day to hear her speak, too. Maybe then we’ll know what she’s doing.
I have not watched Episode 14 yet, but if there’s a new OP and ED I’ll definitely have to get on that! Are they good songs and animation?
Awww, I’m fine! But now that Saki/Touma and Ryou/Eiko are dead (unless the deceased partners are magically resurrected) I’m going to have to find a new OTP.
Maybe she’ll never speak. If she’s capable of it I think she should have done it by now. She’s one of my favourite characters, regardless of intentions.
The quality’s subjective. They’re really okay but they don’t pack the same punch as the first opening and ending did.
